Position Overview
As an Operations Generalist, you’ll keep projects, people, and equipment moving—handling everything from drone logistics and shipping to proposal writing and client outreach. This role requires someone who can effortlessly transition between hands-on operational tasks and strategic support, ensuring projects remain on track while proactively pursuing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create proposals, slide decks, SOPs, and light budgets that win work and guide execution.
- Support project planning and resource allocation; track milestones and spend.
- Research leads, prepare email/LinkedIn cadences, and book intro calls.
- Manage social media posts, represent Aerometrix at conferences, and help shape brand voice.
- Build survey calendars, book and brief contract pilots, and monitor survey progress.
- Arrange cross-border drone shipments, track deliveries, and prepare customs docs (e.g., ATA carnets).
- Draft and submit grant applications and public-sector bids.
Qualifications
- 2+ yrs in ops, logistics, or biz-dev support at a startup or tech-savvy SME.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to prioritize ruthlessly in fast-moving environments.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Confluence (or equivalent collaboration platform).
- Willingness to tackle tasks ranging from pricing strategy to hands-on equipment labelling.
- Bonus points for familiarity with software architecture or development lifecycles, plus experience in BD, marketing, or budgeting.
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: CAD $75,000 – $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Schedule: Full time (Monday – Friday).
- Location: Fully remote; occasional travel for industry events or client meetings.
